The Origin
Exoteca is founded — a bold venture into the world of Balinese furniture importation. The seed of what would one day become Alaire is planted.
2000
Cascais Opens
The very first store opens its doors in Cascais — bringing a curated world of design to the Portuguese coast for the first time.
2006
Alaire is Born
A new name. A sharper identity. Alaire launches with a defining focus on outdoor furniture — a fast-growing sector that would shape the brand's next two decades.
2016
The Showroom
A landmark expansion: a new store and showroom opens in Linhó — over 1,000 m² of curated living spaces, transforming how clients experience design.
2018
PME Líder Award
The market takes notice: Alaire receives its first PME Líder award — recognition for years of consistent growth, discipline, and excellence.
